Hatharatnavali
अथ शीतली- जिह्वया' वायुमाकृष्य पूर्ववत्कुम्भकादनु I शनैरशीतिपर्य्यन्तं' रेचयेदनिलं सुधीः ॥२-१९॥
One draws the air in through the tongue, retains it in the manner told before and thereafter slowly exhales (through the nostrils). This is performed for eighty rounds.

व्यक्ति जीभ के माध्यम से हवा को अंदर खींचता है, पहले बताए तरीके से उसे रोककर रखता है और उसके बाद धीरे-धीरे (नाक के छिद्रों से) सांस छोड़ता है। यह अस्सी चक्रों तक किया जाता है।
