पूर्ववत्कुम्भयेत्प्राणं रेचयेदिडया ततः I गले श्लेष्महरं प्रोक्तं देहानलविवर्धनम्'॥२-१४॥
Retain the breath in the manner told before and thereafter exhale through the left nostril. This is ujjāyī kumbhaka, which cures the phlegmatic disorders of the throat, increases the bodily fire.
