तन्मध्ये कर्णिकायां तु अकथादिरेखात्रयम् । हळक्षकोणसंयुक्तं प्रणवं तत्र वर्तते ॥६-११॥

उस कर्णिका के बीच में ‘अ, क, थ’, आदि से बनी हुई तीन रेखाएं हैं । जो ‘ह, ल, क्ष’, वर्णों से युक्त अर्थात् से बना हुआ त्रिकोण है । जहाँ पर ओंकार अथवा प्रणव स्थित है ।

नादबिन्दुमयं पीठं ध्यायेत्तत्र मनोहरम् । तत्रोपरि हंसयुग्मं पादुका तत्र वर्तते ॥६-१२॥
Meditate on the beautiful back with Naadabindu there. On top of which there is a paduka with pairs of swans.

वहाँ पर नादबिन्दु से युक्त मनमोहक पीठ का ध्यान करे । जिसके ऊपर ‘हंस’ युग्मों से युक्त पादुका स्थित है ।

ध्यायेत्तत्र गुरुं देवं द्विभुजं च त्रिलोचनम् । श्वेताम्बरधरं देवं शुक्लगन्धानुलेपनम् ॥६-१३॥
Gurudev with two arms and three eyes is present there. Those who are wearing white clothes and have applied substances that provide good fragrance on their body. One should meditate on such a Gurudev.

वहीं पर दो भुजाओं व तीन नेत्रों ( आँखों ) वाले गुरुदेव विराजमान हैं । जिन्होंने श्वेत अर्थात् सफेद कपड़े पहने हैं और शरीर पर अच्छी सुगन्ध प्रदान करने वाले पदार्थों का लेप किया हुआ है । ऐसे गुरुदेव का ध्यान करना चाहिए ।

शुक्लपुष्पमयं माल्यं रक्तशक्तिसमन्वितम् । एवंविधगुरुध्यानात्स्थूलध्यानं प्रसिध्यति ॥६-१४॥
That Guru is wearing a garland of white flowers and is endowed with the power of red colour. By meditating on such a Gurudev, the seeker attains success through the method of physical meditation.

वह गुरु सफेद फूलों की माला पहने हुए हैं और जो लाल वर्ण की शक्ति से सम्पन्न हैं । ऐसे गुरुदेव का ध्यान करने से स्थूल ध्यान की विधि से साधक को सिद्धि की प्राप्ति होती है।

स्थूलध्यानं तु कथितं तेजोध्यानं शृणुष्व मे । यद्ध्यानेन योगसिद्धिरात्मप्रत्यक्षमेव च ॥६-१५॥
After describing physical meditation, now listen to the description of Jyoti meditation, by meditating which the seeker gets self-realization and also attains success in yoga.

स्थूल ध्यान का वर्णन करने के बाद अब ज्योति ध्यान का वर्णन सुनो, जिसका ध्यान करने से साधक को स्वयं का प्रत्यक्षीकरण होता है साथ ही योग में सिद्धि भी प्राप्त होती है ।
