Gherand Samhita
तमोमयं शिवं ध्यात्वा मकारं शुक्लवर्णकम् । द्वात्रिंशन्मात्रया चैव रेचयेद्विधिना पुनः ॥५-५१॥
After this, while again meditating on the 'Makar' seed mantra consisting of Lord Shiva having Tamoguna and Shukla varna, chanting it thirty-two times and expelling it from the second (right) nostril.
english translation
इसके बाद पुनः तमोगुण प्रधान शिव और शुक्ल वर्ण से युक्त ‘मकार’ बीजमन्त्र का ध्यान करते हुए उसका बत्तीस बार जप करते हुए उसे दूसरी ( दायीं ) नासिका से बाहर निकाल दें ।

tamomayaM zivaM dhyAtvA makAraM zuklavarNakam । dvAtriMzanmAtrayA caiva recayedvidhinA punaH ॥5-51॥
