वामे वाशित्वाआदौ दक्षिणपार्श्वे अनुवाशते यातुः । अर्थापहारकारी तद्विपरीतो अर्थसिद्धिकरः ॥ ९५-२६ ॥

If the crow be first seen to cry on the left side and then on the right side of a traveller, he will be robbed of his money and if the reverse be the case, there will be the gain of money.

english translation

vAme vAzitvAAdau dakSiNapArzve anuvAzate yAtuH । arthApahArakArI tadviparIto arthasiddhikaraH ॥ 95-26 ॥

यदि वाम एव विरुवन् मुहुर्मुहुर्यायिनो अनुलोमगतिः । अर्थस्य भवति सिद्ध्यै प्राच्यानां दक्षिणश्चएवम् ॥ ९५-२७ ॥

If the crow be seen to cry and follow the traveller on the left side, there will be gain of wealth; in the case of the people of eastern countries, the crow must follow the traveller on the right side instead of on the left.

english translation

yadi vAma eva viruvan muhurmuhuryAyino anulomagatiH । arthasya bhavati siddhyai prAcyAnAM dakSiNazcaevam ॥ 95-27 ॥

वामः प्रतिलोमगतिर्विरुवन् गमनस्य विघ्नकृद्भवति । तत्रस्थस्यएव फलं कथयति तद्वाञ्छितं गमने ॥ ९५-२८ ॥

If the crow be seen to fly crying towards the traveller on the left side, there will be obstacles in the way; but if the person be not a traveller, he will meet with good luck.

english translation

vAmaH pratilomagatirviruvan gamanasya vighnakRdbhavati । tatrasthasyaeva phalaM kathayati tadvAJchitaM gamane ॥ 95-28 ॥

दक्षिणविरुतं कृत्वा वामे विरुयाद्यथाईप्सितावाप्तिः । प्रतिवाश्य पुरो यायाद्द्रुतं अत्यर्थागमो भवति ॥ ९५-२९ ॥

If the crow be seen to cry first on the right side and then on the left, there will be the gain of a desired-object; if it be seen to cry turning to the traveller or fly before him, there will be immediate gain of wealth.

english translation

dakSiNavirutaM kRtvA vAme viruyAdyathAIpsitAvAptiH । prativAzya puro yAyAddrutaM atyarthAgamo bhavati ॥ 95-29 ॥

प्रतिवाश्य पृष्टःअतो दक्षिणेन यायाद्द्रुतं क्षतजकारी । एकचरणो अर्कं ईक्षन्विरुवंश्च पुरो रुधिरहेतुः ॥ ९५-३० ॥

If the crow be seen to cry turning to the traveller and fly away behind him on the right side, the person will soon get wounded, also if the crow be seen to stand on one leg and cry turning to the Moon, the person will get wounded.

prativAzya pRSTaHato dakSiNena yAyAddrutaM kSatajakArI । ekacaraNo arkaM IkSanviruvaMzca puro rudhirahetuH ॥ 95-30 ॥
