मालवान्स भरुकच्छसुराष्ट्रान् लाटसिन्धुविषयप्रभृतींश्च । विक्रमऽर्जितधनो अवति राजा पारियात्रनिलयान् कृतबुद्धिः ॥ ६९-११ ॥
One belonging to the Mālavya type becomes a monarch of cultured mind and rules over the Mālavā (Mālvās), Barukaccha (Broach), Saurāṣṭra country, Lāṭas, Sindhu country and the regions of the Pāriyātra mountain, having amassed wealth by his prowess.

mAlavAnsa bharukacchasurASTrAn lATasindhuviSayaprabhRtIMzca । vikrama'rjitadhano avati rAjA pAriyAtranilayAn kRtabuddhiH ॥ 69-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसप्ततिवर्षो मालव्यो अयं त्यक्ष्यति सम्यक्प्राणांस्तीर्थे । लक्षणं एतत्सम्यक्प्रोक्तं शेषनराणां चातो वक्ष्ये ॥ ६९-१२ ॥
A person of this Mālavya class lives for 70 years and shuffles off his mortal coils in a sacred place through yoga or penance. Thus have I clearly explained the characteristics of this class, and now I shall proceed to define the remaining classes.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपचितसमवृत्तलम्बबाहुर् भुजयुगलप्रमितः समुच्छ्रयो अस्य । मृदुतनुघनरोमनद्धगण्डो भवति नरः खलु लक्षणेन भद्रः ॥ ६९-१३ ॥
One who belongs to the Bhadra class (caused by Mercury) possesses well-developed, equal, round and long arms; height equal to the length of his out-streched arms; and temples densely covered with tender and fine hair.

upacitasamavRttalambabAhur bhujayugalapramitaH samucchrayo asya । mRdutanughanaromanaddhagaNDo bhavati naraH khalu lakSaNena bhadraH ॥ 69-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्वक्शुक्रसारः पृथुपीनवक्षाः सत्त्वाधिको व्याघ्रमुखः स्थिरश्च । क्षमान्वितो धर्मपरः कृतज्ञो गजेन्द्रगामी बहुशास्त्रवेत्ता ॥ ६९-१४ ॥
The essence of the skin is sperm, the chest is broad and fat, the face of a tiger is more strong and stable. He was forgiving He was devoted to religion He was grateful He walked like the lord of elephants He was well versed in many scriptures

tvakzukrasAraH pRthupInavakSAH sattvAdhiko vyAghramukhaH sthirazca । kSamAnvito dharmaparaH kRtajJo gajendragAmI bahuzAstravettA ॥ 69-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्राज्ञो वपुष्मान्सुललाटशङ्खः कलास्वभिज्ञो धृतिमान्सुकुक्षिः । सरोजगर्भद्युतिपाणिपादो योगी सुनासः समसंहतभ्रूः ॥ ६९-१५ ॥
He is wise, handsome, and has a beautiful forehead and conch He is well versed in the arts and is patient and has a good abdomen. Sarojagarbhadyutipanipado The yogi has a nose and even eyebrows.
