शाक्यौपाध्याय अर्हत् निर्ग्रन्थि निमित्तनिगमकैवर्तैः । चौरचमूपतिवणिजां दासीयोधऽपणस्थवध्यानाम् ॥ ५१-२१ ॥
If a Baudha, a preceptor, an Arhat, a naked Sannyāsin, any omen, a scientific work, or a fisherman be seen, the matter relates to a thief, a general, a merchant, a maid servant, a soldier, an article for sale, or a person to be killed respectively.

zAkyaupAdhyAya arhat nirgranthi nimittanigamakaivartaiH । cauracamUpativaNijAM dAsIyodha'paNasthavadhyAnAm ॥ 51-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतापसे शौण्डिके दृष्टे प्रोषितं पशुपालनम् । हृद्गतं प्रच्छकस्य स्यादुञ्छवृटौ विपन्नता ॥ ५१-२२ ॥
If a hermit be seen, the matter relates to a person who has gone abroad to travel; if a dealer in liquor be seen, the matter relates to the protection of animals; if a person be seen gathering grains in market places, the matter relates to some danger or difficulty.

tApase zauNDike dRSTe proSitaM pazupAlanam । hRdgataM pracchakasya syAduJchavRTau vipannatA ॥ 51-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइच्छामि प्रष्टुं भण पश्यत्वार्यः समादिशैत्युक्ते ॥ संयोगकुटुम्बौत्था लाभाइश्वर्यौद्गता चिन्ता ॥ ५१-२३ ॥
If the querent be heard to say, “I like to question,” the matter relates to a wish to enjoy a woman; if he begins by stating “say,” the matter relates to a family; if the expression be “I want to see,” the matter relates to gain; if the expression be “requests that orders may be made,” the matter relates to wealth.

icchAmi praSTuM bhaNa pazyatvAryaH samAdizaityukte ॥ saMyogakuTumbautthA lAbhAizvaryaudgatA cintA ॥ 51-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिर्दिशैति गदिते जयाध्वजा प्रत्यवेक्ष्य मम चिन्तितं वद । आशु सर्वजनमध्यगं त्वया दृश्यतां इति च बन्धुचौरजा ॥ ५१-२४ ॥
If the expression be “may the information be given,” the matter relates to success; if the expression be “examine soon and discover my thoughts,” the matter relates to something connected with roads; if the expression be “what is in the midst of all people should be soon examined,” the matter relates to kinsmen who have been abducted away.

nirdizaiti gadite jayAdhvajA pratyavekSya mama cintitaM vada । Azu sarvajanamadhyagaM tvayA dRzyatAM iti ca bandhucaurajA ॥ 51-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्तःस्थे अङ्गे स्वजन उदितो बाह्यजे बाह्य एव पादाङ्गुष्ठाङ्गुलिकलनया दासदासीजनः स्यात् । जङ्घे प्रेष्यो भवति भगिनी नाभितो हृत्स्वभार्या पाण्यङ्गुष्ठाङ्गुलिचयकृतस्पर्शने पुत्रकन्ये ॥ ५१-२५ ॥
If the Ceṣṭā (motion) refers to the inner organs, the matter relates to one’s own people; if to the outer organs, then, to other people; if to the toes or lingers, then, to man or a maid servant; if to the knees, then, to one’s servant; if to the navel, then, to one’s younger sister; and if to the heart, then, to one’s wife; and to the toes or other fingers, then, to a son or daughter.

antaHsthe aGge svajana udito bAhyaje bAhya eva pAdAGguSThAGgulikalanayA dAsadAsIjanaH syAt । jaGghe preSyo bhavati bhaginI nAbhito hRtsvabhAryA pANyaGguSThAGgulicayakRtasparzane putrakanye ॥ 51-25 ॥
