स्रग्गन्धधूपाम्बरपूजितस्य छत्रं विधायौपरि पादपस्य । कृत्वा शिवं रुद्रजपो अत्र कार्यो रुद्रेभ्य इत्यत्र षडेव होमाः ॥ ४६-३१ ॥
For the expiation of the evils the priests shall honour the tree with flowers, sandal paste, perfumed smoke, clothes and the like, and hold an umbrella over it, and placing a Sivaliṅga at its foot shall perform Rudrajapa and offer to the fire six āhutis in honour of Rudra.

sraggandhadhUpAmbarapUjitasya chatraM vidhAyaupari pAdapasya । kRtvA zivaM rudrajapo atra kAryo rudrebhya ityatra SaDeva homAH ॥ 46-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपायसेन मधुनापि भोजयेद्ब्राह्मणान्घृतयुतेन भूपतिः । मेदिनी निगदिताअत्र दक्षिणा वैकृते तरुकृते हितार्थिभिः ॥ ४६-३२ ॥
The king shall feed Brāhmaṇas with rice cooked in milk, with honey and with ghee. In the case of portents connected with trees, the Ṛṣis have directed that the king shall make gifts of land to the Brāhmaṇas.
english translation
pAyasena madhunApi bhojayedbrAhmaNAnghRtayutena bhUpatiH । medinI nigaditAatra dakSiNA vaikRte tarukRte hitArthibhiH ॥ 46-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनाले अब्जयवऽदीनां एकस्मिन्द्वित्रिसम्भवो मरणम् । कथयति तदधिपतीनां यमलं जातं च कुसुमफलम् ॥ ४६-३३ ॥
If the stem or stock of the lotus, barley and the like should be found to divide into branches or if crops should bear double fruits or double flowers, the owner or proprietor of the land will die.
english translation
nAle abjayava'dInAM ekasmindvitrisambhavo maraNam । kathayati tadadhipatInAM yamalaM jAtaM ca kusumaphalam ॥ 46-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअतिवृद्धिः सस्यानां नानाफलकुसुम सम्भवो वृक्षे । भवति हि यद्येकस्मिन्परचक्रस्यऽगमो नियमात् ॥ ४६-३४ ॥
If crops should grow over-luxuriantly, or if a single tree should bear a variety of fruits or flowers, the country will be invaded by the enemy.

ativRddhiH sasyAnAM nAnAphalakusuma sambhavo vRkSe । bhavati hi yadyekasminparacakrasya'gamo niyamAt ॥ 46-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअर्धेन यदा तैलं भवति तिलानां अतैलता वा स्यात् । अन्नस्य च वैरस्यं तदा तु विन्द्याद्भयं सुमहत् ॥ ४६-३५ ॥
If the gingelly should yield double the usual quantity of oil, or if such seed should contain no oil, or if rice should be found without flavour, mankind will suffer from great fears.
english translation
ardhena yadA tailaM bhavati tilAnAM atailatA vA syAt । annasya ca vairasyaM tadA tu vindyAdbhayaM sumahat ॥ 46-35 ॥
