गोधूमशालियवधान्यवरैक्षुवाटा भूः पाल्यते नृपतिभिर्नगरऽकरऽढ्या । चित्यङ्किता क्रतुवरेष्टिविघुष्टनादा संवत्सरे शिशिरगोरभिसम्प्रवृत्ते ॥ १९-०६ ॥
There will be an abundant growth of wheat, rice, barley and other grains and also of excellent sugar-cane; the towns and mines will flourish; the surface of the Earth will be marked by the construction of raised brick-works over the sites of sacrificial rites, the sky will be filled with the sound of Vedic hymns chanted by persons engaged in such rites; and the Earth will be under the protection of good rulers.

godhUmazAliyavadhAnyavaraikSuvATA bhUH pAlyate nRpatibhirnagara'kara'DhyA । cityaGkitA kratuvareSTivighuSTanAdA saMvatsare ziziragorabhisampravRtte ॥ 19-06 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवातोद्धतश्चरति वह्निरतिप्रचण्डो ग्रामान्वनानि नगराणि च सन्दिधक्षुः । हाहाइति दस्युगणपातहता रटन्ति निःस्वीकृता विपशवो भुवि मर्त्यसंघाः ॥ १९-०७ ॥
If Mars should be the lord of the year there will be fear from destructive fires gaining in strength by the winds that blow over them and consuming villages, towns and forests; mankind will suffer from the attacks of robbers, and there will be heard everywhere cries of distress and there will also be loss of property and cattle.
english translation
vAtoddhatazcarati vahniratipracaNDo grAmAnvanAni nagarANi ca sandidhakSuH । hAhAiti dasyugaNapAtahatA raTanti niHsvIkRtA vipazavo bhuvi martyasaMghAH ॥ 19-07 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअभ्युन्नता वियति संहतमूर्तयो अपि मुञ्चन्ति कुत्र चिद् अपः प्रचुरं पयोदाः । सीम्नि प्रजातं अपि शोषं उपैति सस्यं निष्पन्नं अप्यविनयादपरे हरन्ति ॥ १९-०८ ॥
Though gigantic clouds might float together in the sky, they will yield little rain. Crops, even though they might be grown in wet places, will become dry and if they happen to grow and ripen at all, they will be cut and carried away by robbers.
english translation
abhyunnatA viyati saMhatamUrtayo api muJcanti kutra cid apaH pracuraM payodAH । sImni prajAtaM api zoSaM upaiti sasyaM niSpannaM apyavinayAdapare haranti ॥ 19-08 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभूपा न सम्यगभिपालनसक्तचित्ताः पित्तोत्थरुक्प्रचुरता भुजगप्रकोपः । एवंविधैर् उपहृता भवति प्रजाइयं संवत्सरे अवनिसुतस्य विपन्नसस्या ॥ १९-०९ ॥
Rulers will little attend to the protection of their subjects; bilious complaints will afflict mankind; there will also be deaths from snake-bites and crops will suffer blight or be otherwise injured.

bhUpA na samyagabhipAlanasaktacittAH pittottharukpracuratA bhujagaprakopaH । evaMvidhair upahRtA bhavati prajAiyaM saMvatsare avanisutasya vipannasasyA ॥ 19-09 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमायाइन्द्रजालकुहकऽकरनागराणां गान्धर्वलेख्यगणितास्त्रविदां च वृद्धिः । पिप्रीषया नृपतयो अद्भुतदर्शनानि दित्सन्ति तुष्टिजननानि परस्परेभ्यः ॥ १९-१० ॥
If Mercury should be the lord of the year, the arts of jugglery and sorcery will thrive; rogues will prosper; towns and villages will flourish; musicians, writers, mathematicians and persons skilled in the use of arms will abound in the land and rulers will exchange rare and valuable gifts.

mAyAindrajAlakuhaka'karanAgarANAM gAndharvalekhyagaNitAstravidAM ca vRddhiH । piprISayA nRpatayo adbhutadarzanAni ditsanti tuSTijananAni parasparebhyaH ॥ 19-10 ॥
