मायाइन्द्रजालकुहकऽकरनागराणां गान्धर्वलेख्यगणितास्त्रविदां च वृद्धिः । पिप्रीषया नृपतयो अद्भुतदर्शनानि दित्सन्ति तुष्टिजननानि परस्परेभ्यः ॥ १९-१० ॥

If Mercury should be the lord of the year, the arts of jugglery and sorcery will thrive; rogues will prosper; towns and villages will flourish; musicians, writers, mathematicians and persons skilled in the use of arms will abound in the land and rulers will exchange rare and valuable gifts.

mAyAindrajAlakuhaka'karanAgarANAM gAndharvalekhyagaNitAstravidAM ca vRddhiH । piprISayA nRpatayo adbhutadarzanAni ditsanti tuSTijananAni parasparebhyaH ॥ 19-10 ॥
