Among the southern peoples are the Drāviḍas, the Videhas, the Āndhras, the Aśmakas, the Bhāsas, the Aparas, and the Kauṇkaṇas; the Samantṛṣikas, the Kuntala, Kerala, Daṇḍaka, Kāntipura, and the mixed Mleccha tribes.
