उपारूढे द्वितीयेऽपि स्वस्वामिग्रहसंयुते । स्वर्क्षगे तत्पतौ वापि यत्र कुत्रापि भूसुर ॥ ११॥
Oh Brahmin, if Mithun happens to be the 2nd from Upa Pad, then also there will be many wives.
english translation
upArUDhe dvitIye'pi svasvAmigrahasaMyute । svarkSage tatpatau vApi yatra kutrApi bhUsura ॥ 11॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्य जन्मनि योगोऽयं स नरो द्विजसत्तम । उत्तरायुषि निर्दारो भवत्येव न संशयः ॥ १२॥
O excellent of the Brahmins, if the Upa Pad, or the 2nd therefrom be occupied by its own Lord, or, if the said Lord is in his other own Bhava, the death of wife will be at advanced age.
english translation
yasya janmani yogo'yaM sa naro dvijasattama । uttarAyuSi nirdAro bhavatyeva na saMzayaH ॥ 12॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्वराशौ संस्थितेऽप्येवं नित्याख्ये दारकारके । उत्तरायुषि निर्दारो भवत्येव न संशयः ॥ १३॥
Wife from the 2nd of Upa Pad (up to Sloka 22). If a Grah being constant indicator of wife (i.e. the 7th Lord, or Śukr) is in its own Bhava, there will be loss of wife only at a later stage.

svarAzau saMsthite'pyevaM nityAkhye dArakArake । uttarAyuSi nirdAro bhavatyeva na saMzayaH ॥ 13॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपारूढपतिः स्वोच्चे स्थिरस्त्रीकारकोऽथ वा । सुकुलाद् दारलाभः स्यान्नीचस्थे तु विपर्ययात् ॥ १४॥
If the Lord of Upa Pad, or the constant significator of wife is in exaltation, the wife will be from a noble family.
english translation
upArUDhapatiH svocce sthirastrIkArako'tha vA । sukulAd dAralAbhaH syAnnIcasthe tu viparyayAt ॥ 14॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपारूढे द्वितीये वा शुभसम्बधतो द्विज । जातस्य सुन्दरी भार्या भव्या रूपगुणान्विता ॥ १५॥
Reverse will be the case, if he is debilitated. O Brahmin, if the 2nd from Upa Pad is related to a benefic, the wife will be beautiful, fortunate and virtuous.
english translation
upArUDhe dvitIye vA zubhasambadhato dvija । jAtasya sundarI bhAryA bhavyA rUpaguNAnvitA ॥ 15॥
