रविर्नैवात्र पापः स्यात् स्वोच्चमित्रस्वभस्थितः । नीचशत्रुगृहस्थश्चेत्तदाऽसौ पाप एव हि ॥ ६॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्वोच्चांशे स्वोच्चसंस्थे वा तुङ्गदृष्टिवशात् तथा । भवन्ति बहवो दारा रूपलक्षणसंयुताः ॥ ९॥
If there is a Grah in the 2nd from Upa Pad in its debilitation Rāśi, or debilitation Ańś, or is yuti with a debilitated, or malefic Grah, there will be destruction of wife.

svoccAMze svoccasaMsthe vA tuGgadRSTivazAt tathA । bhavanti bahavo dArA rUpalakSaNasaMyutAH ॥ 9॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपारूढे द्वितीये वा मिथुने संस्थिते सति । तत्र जातनरो विप्र बहुदारयुतो भवेत् ॥ १०॥
If the said occupant be in its exaltation Rāśi, or Navāńś, or receives a Drishti from another Grah, there will be many charming and virtuous wives.

upArUDhe dvitIye vA mithune saMsthite sati । tatra jAtanaro vipra bahudArayuto bhavet ॥ 10॥
