लग्नेशे लग्नगे देहसुखभाग् भुजविक्रमी । मनस्वी चञ्चलश्चैव द्विभार्यो परगोऽपि व ॥ १॥
Effects of Lagn‟s Lord in Various Bhavas (up to Sloka 12). Should Lagn‟s Lord be in Lagn itself, the native will be endowed with physical happiness and prowess. He will be intelligent, fickle-minded, will have two wives and will unite with other females.

lagneze lagnage dehasukhabhAg bhujavikramI । manasvI caJcalazcaiva dvibhAryo parago'pi va ॥ 1॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptलग्नेशे धनगे बालो लाभवान् पण्डितः सुखी । सुशीलो धर्मविन्मानी बहुदारगुणैर्युतः ॥ २॥
If the Lagn‟s Lord is in Dhan, he will be gainful, scholarly, happy, endowed with good qualities, be religious, honourable and will have many wives.
english translation
lagneze dhanage bAlo lAbhavAn paNDitaH sukhI । suzIlo dharmavinmAnI bahudAraguNairyutaH ॥ 2॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptलग्नेशे सहजे जातः सिंहतुल्यपराक्रमी । सर्वसम्पद्युतो मानी द्विभार्यो मतिमान् सुखी ॥ ३॥
If Lagn‟s Lord is in Sahaj Bhava, the native will equal a lion in valour, be endowed with all kinds of wealth, be honourable, will have two wives, be intelligent and happy.
english translation
lagneze sahaje jAtaH siMhatulyaparAkramI । sarvasampadyuto mAnI dvibhAryo matimAn sukhI ॥ 3॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptलग्नेशे सुखगे बालः पितृमातृसुखान्वितः । बहुभ्रातृयुतः कामी गुणरूपसमन्वितः ॥ ४॥
If Lagn‟s Lord is in Bandhu Bhava, the native will be endowed with paternal and maternal happiness, will have many brothers, be lustful, virtuous and charming.
english translation
lagneze sukhage bAlaH pitRmAtRsukhAnvitaH । bahubhrAtRyutaH kAmI guNarUpasamanvitaH ॥ 4॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptलग्नेशे सुतगे जन्तोः सुतसौख्यं च मध्यमम् । प्रथमापत्यनाशः स्यान्मानी क्रोधी नृपप्रियः ॥ ५॥
If Lagn‟s Lord is in Putr Bhava, the native will have mediocre progenic happiness, will lose his first child, be honourable, given to anger and be dear to king.

lagneze sutage jantoH sutasaukhyaM ca madhyamam । prathamApatyanAzaH syAnmAnI krodhI nRpapriyaH ॥ 5॥
