Know that which has form to be false, that which is formless to be eternal. Through the instruction of this truth there is no longer rebirth into this world.
If it (inconscientousness or true realization) is of the nature of the not-Self, how can there be Samadhi? If it is of the nature of the Self, how can there be Samadhi? If it is both "is" and "is not", how can there be Samadhi? If all is one and of the nature of freedom, how can there be Samadhi?
You are the ever-pure and unchanging Reality. You are bodiless, birthless, and imperishable. "I know the Atman," or "I do not know"-why do you think in such terms?
The Atman, the true nature of being, has been established by the great Vedic dictums, such as "Thou art That" and "I am Brahman." The body, consisting of five elements, is unreal-this has been declared by the Sruti (scripture), saying, "Not this, not this."
