तत्त्वमस्यादिवाक्येन स्वात्मा हि प्रतिपादितः। नेति नेति श्रुति यादनृतं पाञ्च भौतिकम्।। २५॥

The Atman, the true nature of being, has been established by the great Vedic dictums, such as "Thou art That" and "I am Brahman." The body, consisting of five elements, is unreal-this has been declared by the Sruti (scripture), saying, "Not this, not this."

english translation

tattvamasyAdivAkyena svAtmA hi pratipAditaH| neti neti zruti yAdanRtaM pAJca bhautikam|| 25||
