कुर्यान्नेत्रेऽतिलिखिते मृदितं दधिमस्तुना । केवलेनापि वा सेकं मस्तुना जाङ्गलाशिनः ॥ १४ ॥
The resulting prepared powder is macerated with curd whey (dadhi-mastu) and applied as eye drops to treat an eyelid that has been excessively scraped (atilikhta). Alternatively, in patients who habitually consume meat from animals of arid/desert regions (jangala-ashina), the eye may be irrigated or bathed with plain curd whey alone.
