पूतस्यांशः क्षीरतोंऽशस्तथांशौ भार्गान्निर्यासाद्द्वौ वरायास्त्रयोंऽशाः । अंशाश्चत्वारश्चेह हैयङ्गवीनादेकीकृत्यैतत्साधयेत्कृष्णलौहे ॥ १७० ॥

To one part of this filtered decoction, one part of milk, two parts of the extract/decoction of bhārgī – Clerodendrum serratum, three parts of the decoction of varā (Triphala – Amalaki, Haritaki, Vibhitaki), and four parts of fresh butter are added together and cooked in a black iron vessel to prepare the herbal ghee.
