Astanga Hrudaya
विषघ्नं बहुदोषेषु प्रयुञ्जीत विशोधनम् । यष्ट्याह्वमदनाङ्कोल्लजालिनीसिन्धुवारिकाः ॥ ७५ ॥
When there is an increase of doshas, then anti – poisonous, purificatory therapiesshould be administered (as described further). In Kapha, the poison should be removed quickly by producing vomiting by making the patient drink the decoction of yaṣṭyāhva – Glycyrrhiza glabra, madana – Randia dumetorum, aṅkolla – Alangium salvifolium, jālinī – Luffa acutangula andsindhuvāra – Vitex negundo or of the leaves,
