पूर्वे दर्वीकृतां वेगे दुष्टं श्यावीभवत्यसृक् । श्यावता तेन वक्त्रादौ सर्पन्तीव च कीटकाः ॥ १९ ॥

In the first stage of Darvikara visha, the vitiated blood becomes blue; because of that, there is blue color of the mouth etc. and the person feels as though insects are crawling on his body.
