वायुना कुरुते ग्रन्थिं भृशं स्निग्धं मृदुं चलम् । श्लेष्मतुल्याकृतिं देहक्षयवृद्धिक्षयोदयम् ॥ ८ ॥

brought to the muscle or skin by Vata gives rise to granthi which is very unctuous, soft, movable, having symptoms of aggravation of Kapha, increasing and decreasing in size, with the increase or decrease of the body.
