प्रच्यावयति रोमाणि ततः श्लेष्मा सशोणितः । रोमकूपान् रुणद्ध्यस्य तेनान्येषामसम्भवः ॥ २५ ॥

causes the hair to fall off (pracyāvayati romāṇi); thereafter, śleṣmā (Kapha) along with blood (sashoṇitaḥ) blocks the hair follicles (roma-kūpān ruṇaddhi), due to which no new hair grows (tenānyeṣām asambhavaḥ).
