जनयन्ति स्थिरं रक्तं नीरुजं तद्गलार्बुदम् । पवनश्लेष्ममेदोभिर्गलगण्डो भवेद्बहिः । वर्धमानः स कालेन मुष्कवल्लम्बतेऽतिरुक् ॥ ५३ ॥

which does not ripen (suppurate), is static, red in color and painless.This is Galarbuda. Galaganda arises from Vata, Kapha and Medas, outside the throat (on the sides of the neck), growing in size in course of time, it hangs like the scrotum and causes severe pain.
