पृष्ठभङ्गे बिडालानां बर्हिणां च शिखोद्भवे । दन्तोद्भेदे च बालानां न हि किञ्चिन्न दूयते ॥ २८ ॥
Just as during the bending/straightening of the spine in kittens, and during the growth of the crest in young peacocks, no part of their body remains free from discomfort—similarly, during the process of teething in children, there is not a single part of the body that does not suffer from pain or affliction.
