अनुबन्धे यथाव्याधि प्रतिकुर्वीत कालवित् । दन्तोद्भेदश्च रोगाणां सर्वेषामपि कारणम् ॥ २६ ॥
Any remaining secondary complications should be treated by a physician who is well-versed in timing (kālavit) according to the specific disease. The eruption of teeth (dentition) acts as a provocative cause for all types of diseases in children.

It especially gives rise to conditions such as fever (jvara), diarrhea (viḍbheda), cough (kāsa), vomiting (chardi), headache (śirorujā), conjunctivitis (abhiṣyanda), pustules on the eyelids (pothakī), and herpes/erysipelas (visarpa).

Just as during the bending/straightening of the spine in kittens, and during the growth of the crest in young peacocks, no part of their body remains free from discomfort—similarly, during the process of teething in children, there is not a single part of the body that does not suffer from pain or affliction.

The physician should carefully analyze and administer appropriate medical treatment based on the specific Dosha involved, the nature of the disease, the severity or predominance of the symptoms (udreka), and the degree of complications (bhaya), while carefully considering factors like habitat (deśa) and season (kāla).
