Astanga Hrudaya
पूयास्रवे मलाः सास्रा वर्त्मसन्धेः कनीनकात् । स्रावयन्ति मुहुः पूयं सास्रं त्वङ्मांसपाकतः ॥ ६ ॥
In Puyasrava, the malas (doshas) associated with blood, discharge pus mixed with blood, often from the joints of the lids, though the inner canthus, as a result of suppuration/ulceration of the skin and muscles.
