ब्रह्मसोमामृताब्राह्मीः कल्कीकृत्य पलांशिकाः । अष्टाङ्गं विपचेत्सर्पिः प्रस्थं क्षीरचतुर्गुणम् ॥ ४४ ॥

brahmasomā (Butea monosperma / Sarcostemma acidum), amṛtā (Tinospora cordifolia), and brāhmī (Bacopa monnieri); one prastha (768 grams) of ghee (sarpis) should be thoroughly cooked with these eight ingredients, along with four times that quantity of milk (3.072 liters) as the liquid medium.
