पादेनापथ्यमभ्यस्तं पादपादेन वा त्यजेत्। निषेवेत हितं तद्वदेकद्वित्र्यन्तरीकृतम्॥४८॥
SATMIKARANA KRAMA – (METHOD OF ACCUSTOMIZATION) :- Unhealthy things – foods, drinks, activities which have become accustomed by long use should be discontinued by quarter and quarter gradually. Similarly healthy things (foods etc.) should be gradually made use with intevals of 1, 2 and 3 days.
