Astanga Hrudaya
वातश्लेष्महरं युक्त्या पीतं विषवदन्यथा। गुरु तद्दोषजननं नवं, जीर्णमतोऽन्यथा ॥६५॥
all these if used judiciously; but used otherwise, they act like poison. Fresh wine is hard to digest; increases of all the Doshas, whereas old ones decrease;

vAtazleSmaharaM yuktyA pItaM viSavadanyathA। guru taddoSajananaM navaM, jIrNamato'nyathA ॥65॥
