विशेषादत्र सेकोऽम्लैर्लेपो मधु घृतं तिलाः। वातपित्तहरा चेष्टा सर्वैव शिशिरा क्रिया॥३८॥
Management of excessive burning by kshara: In such conditions, pouring the part with sour fluids, applications of paste of honey, ghee and sesame, activities, foods and other comforts which mitigate vata and pitta and all others which produce cold should be adopted (cold foods and comforts).
