नाभिष्यन्दि न वा रूक्षं पानादिष्वमृतोपमम् । चन्दनोशीरकर्पूरमुक्ताम्रग्वसनोज्ज्वलः ।I ५३ ॥
This water is neither polluting nor is it dry. This water is drinkable as it has properties similar to nectar. Applying a paste of sandalwood, khus and camphor (paste of these substances can be made separately or together) in the night (beginning one or two hours after nightfall), wearing a pearl necklace and wearing clean clothes.

यह जल अभिष्यन्दकारक नहीं होता और न रूक्ष ही होता है। यह अमृत के समान गुणों वाला जल पीने योग्य होता है । रजनीमुख ( रात्रि होने के बाद एक-दो घण्टा तक आरम्भ ) में चन्दन, खस तथा कपूर का लेप लगाकर (इन द्रव्यों का अलग-अलग या एक साथ भी लेप बनाया जा सकता है), मोतियों की माला धारण कर, साफ-सुथरे वस्त्र पहन कर
