समन्तादप्यहोरात्रमगस्त्योदयनिर्विषम् । शुचि हंसोदकं नाम निर्मलं मलजिज्जलम् ॥५२॥

Due to the rising of the star Agastya, the water which becomes free from defects, is called 'Hansodak'.

english translation

अगस्त्य तारा के उदय हो जाने से निर्विषं ( दोषरहित ) अतएव पवित्र, निर्मल एवं दोषनाशक जल को 'हंसोदक' कहते हैं।

samantAdapyahorAtramagastyodayanirviSam । zuci haMsodakaM nAma nirmalaM malajijjalam ॥52॥
