अयमेव विधिः कार्यः शिशिरेऽपि विशेषतः । तदा हि शीतमधिकं रौक्ष्यं चादानकालजम् ॥१७॥

All the methods mentioned in the autumn season should be used especially in the autumn season also. The specialty is that in this season it is more cold than in the Hemant season, because in this season the transition period begins. So it starts getting rough.

हेमन्त ऋतु में कही गयी सभी विधियों का सेवन विशेष करके शिशिर ऋतु में भी करना चाहिए। विशेषता यह है कि इस ऋतु में हेमन्त ऋतु की अपेक्षा शीत अधिक पड़ने लगता है, क्योंकि इस ऋतु में आदानकाल का प्रारम्भ हो जाता है। अतः इसमें रूक्षता आने लगती है I
