अपां पूर्णं विधुनुयादवाक्शिरसमायतम्। वामयेच्चामुख़ं भस्मराशौ वा निखनेन्नरम्॥४०॥
Removal of water swallowed during drowning: The person who has swallowed water to his full stomach (due to drowning), should be held upside down, with his legs up, and shaken well, or made to vomit all water or the person should be immersed in a heap of ash till the level of head.
