कुठार्या लक्षयेन्मध्ये वामहस्तगृहीतया। फलोद्देशे सुनिष्कम्पं सिरां, तद्वच्च मोक्षयेत्॥२४॥

sanskrit

then holding the axe with his left hand, place its edge on the middle portion of the vein and give up in the Axe without Shaking. Axe should be lifted up in the same way, tapping and kneading the vein for making more blood to come out.

english translation

kuThAryA lakSayenmadhye vAmahastagRhItayA। phaloddeze suniSkampaM sirAM, tadvacca mokSayet॥24॥
