सम्भिन्नालापं व्यापादमभिध्यां दृग्विपर्ययम् । पापं कर्मेति दशधा कायवाङ्मानसैस्त्यजेत् ॥२२॥

Vyapadam (planning to kill someone or get someone killed), 9. Abhidhya (desiring to usurp the property of others) and 10. Drigviparyay (thinking contrary to the instructions of the scriptures, atheism, thinking contrary to the statements of the authorities, etc.) - Abandon these mental sins from the mind.

७. सम्भिन्न आलाप ( कभी कुछ और कभी कुछ कहना, जिसे दोगलापन कहते हैं ) - वाणी सम्बन्धी इन पापकर्मों का वाणी द्वारा परित्याग करे अर्थात् ऐसी बातें न कहें। ८. व्यापादं (किसी को मार डालने या मरवा डालने की योजना ), ९. अभिध्या ( दूसरे की सम्पत्ति को हड़प जाने की इच्छा करना) तथा १०. दृग्विपर्यय ( शास्त्र के निर्देशों के विपरीत सोचना, नास्तिकता, आप्त वाक्यों के विरुद्ध सोचना आदि ) – इन मानसिक पापों का मन से परित्याग करे ।
