सुखार्थाः सर्वभूतानां मताः सर्वाः प्रवृत्तयः । सुखं च न विना धर्मात्तस्माद्धर्मपरो भवेत् ॥२०॥

Dharma is the means of happiness - All living beings want to get happiness, therefore their tendencies (desire to work) are for getting happiness and happiness cannot be achieved without Dharma. Therefore, everyone should be ready to do Dharma-karma.

सुख का साधन धर्म — सभी प्राणी चाहते हैं कि हमें सुख मिलें, अतएव उनकी प्रवृत्तियाँ (कार्य करने की लगन ) सुख पाने के लिए होती है और सुख की प्राप्ति धर्म के बिना नहीं होती। अतः सभी को धर्म-कार्य करने में तत्पर रहना चाहिए I
