रसेषु गृद्धिः सर्वेषु क्षुत्तृष्णा परिकर्तिका । जीर्णे जीर्यति चाध्मानं भुक्ते स्वास्थ्यं समश्नुते ॥ २३ ॥

There is a desire for things of all tastes, increased hunger and thirst, cutting pain in the rectum, and flatulence during and after digestion (when the food is being digested and after it is fully digested); the patient feels comfortable only after taking food.

english translation

raseSu gRddhiH sarveSu kSuttRSNA parikartikA । jIrNe jIryati cAdhmAnaM bhukte svAsthyaM samaznute ॥ 23 ॥
