पक्षमन्यतरं हन्ति सन्धिबन्धान् विमोक्षयन् । कृत्स्नोऽर्धकायस्तस्य स्यादकर्मण्यो विचेतनः ॥ ३९ ॥

sanskrit

destroys – makes left or the right side of the body inactive, by loosening the joints. By this, half of the body becomes incapable of any function and insensible with loss of functions.

pakSamanyataraM hanti sandhibandhAn vimokSayan । kRtsno'rdhakAyastasya syAdakarmaNyo vicetanaH ॥ 39 ॥
