विषजः सविषप्राणिपरिसर्पणमूत्रणात् । दंष्ट्रादन्तनखापातादविषप्राणिनामपि ॥ ४० ॥
Vishaja shopha—swelling caused by poison—is produced by exposure to the crawling (direct body touch) or urine of poisonous animals and insects, or by injuries inflicted by the tusks, teeth, or claws of poisonous or even non-poisonous animals.
