प्रतिपन्नस्य आभरणम् आदाय स्वामिने दर्शयेत् "असौ ते मुख्यो यौवन उत्सिक्तो भार्यां स्नुषां दुहितरं वा अभिमन्यते" इति ॥
She may take the jewellery which the deluded chief gives her (for delivery to the wife, daughter, etc.), and, presenting it before the other chief, narrate that this chief in the pride of his youth makes love to the other's wife, daughter, or daughter-in-law.

तयोः कलहो रात्रौ इति समानम् ॥
When at night a duel arises between the two chiefs, etc., as before.

दूष्य दण्ड उपनतेषु तु युव राजः सेना पतिर् वा किंचिद् अपकृत्य अपक्रान्तो विक्रमेत ॥
The prince or the commander of the army may confer some benefit upon such inimical persons as have been cowed down by a seditious army, and may declare his displeasure against them afterwards.

ततो राजा दूष्य दण्ड उपनतान् एव प्रेषयेत् फल्गु बल तीक्ष्ण युक्तान् इति समानाः सर्व एव योगाः ॥
And then some other persons, who are equally cowed down by another seditious army of the king, may be sent against the former along with an army of inefficient soldiers and fiery spies. Thus all the measures to get rid of seditious persons are of the same type.

तेषां च पुत्रेष्व् अनुक्षियत्सु यो निर्विकारः स पितृ दायं लभेत ॥
Whoever among the sons of the seditious persons thus put down shows no perturbance of mind shall receive his father's property.
