Naadi Yantras - There are many types and purposes of naadi yantras, with one or two openings, for removing foreign bodies lodged in the channels, for examining diseases, for suction, and for ease of treatment; they are made according to the size of the channel opening and are of appropriate length. Among them, we will describe later the yantras for fistula-in-ano, hemorrhoids, wounds, enema, urethral douche, hydrocele, ascites, flatulence, and obstructed flatus, as well as the gourd-horn yantras.

There are also various types of rod-like instruments, with various purposes, and of appropriate size and length. Of those, two with the shape of the head, hood, and tail of a centipede, a snake, and a peacock feather, are taught for the purposes of probing, spreading, moving, and extracting. Two with the shape of a lentil leaf, slightly bent at the tip, are for extracting foreign matter lodged in the channels. Six made of cotton are for wiping. Three with the shape of a ladle, with a mouth like a mortar, are for applying alkaline medicines. Three others with the shape of a mongoose's face, three with the shape of a goad, and six are intended for cauterization procedures. One with a mouth the size of a kola-nut leaf, sharp at the edge like a mortar, is for removing tumors of the nose. One with the shape of a kalaya seed, with a closed tip on both sides, is for applying collyrium. One with the size and shape of the tip of a malati flower bud is for cleansing the urethra.
