sanskrit

In the Vasant (spring) season, the morning time is indicative of this season. In the Greeshma (summer) season, the noon time represents it. In the Pravarsha (monsoon) season, the afternoon is characteristic of this period. In the Varsha (rainy) season, the evening signifies it. In the Sharad (autumn) season, it is identified during the midnight. In the Hemanta (pre-winter) season, it is recognized at dawn. Similarly, just as the characteristics of the seasons (hot, cold, rainy) influence the body's humors and their balance, the cycle of day and night should be understood in terms of their effect on these doshas and their management.
