निद्राकरं शीततरं गव्यात् स्निग्धतरं गुरु । उष्णमैकशफं बल्यं शाखावातहरं पयः ॥५६॥
It is sleep-inducing, colder than buffalo milk, more unctuous, and heavier. It is warm, has a single flavor, strengthens the body, and alleviates vata disorders.

यह निद्राकारक है, गाय के दूध से ठंडा, अधिक स्निग्ध और भारी है। यह उष्ण है, एक ही स्वाद वाला, बल्य है, और वात विकारों को दूर करता है।
