जीवनीयं तथा वातपित्तघ्नं परमं स्मृतम् । गव्यतुल्यगुणं त्वाजं विशेषाच्छोषिणां हितम् ॥५१॥

It is digestive, light, and absorbent, and helps in alleviating cough, cold, and pitta-related disorders. Due to its qualities of being less dense and its use of bitter and astringent tastes, it is beneficial.

This milk, which is not excessively consumed and not subjected to exercise, alleviates all ailments. It is dry, hot, slightly saline, and has a taste that is sweet and light.

This milk, which is thick, alleviates swelling, tumors, abdominal disorders, and hemorrhoids. It is effective against worms, leprosy, and poisons. It is sweet, smooth, heavy, and counteracts pitta and kapha.
