पानीयमान्तरीक्षमनिर्देश्यरसममृतं जीवनं तर्पणं धारणमाश्वासजननं श्रमक्लमपिपासामदमूर्च्छातन्द्रानिद्रादाहप्रशमनमेकान्ततः पथ्यतमं च ||३||

Water, the essential element for life, is identified by its taste and is considered nourishing. It provides satisfaction, maintains strength, alleviates fatigue, quenches thirst, calms faintness, and relieves heat. It is, in essence, beneficial and suitable for health.

पानी, जीवन के लिए आवश्यक तत्व, अपने स्वाद से पहचाना जाता है और पोषक माना जाता है। यह तृप्ति प्रदान करता है, ताकत बनाए रखता है, थकावट को दूर करता है, प्यास बुझाता है, बेहोशी को शांत करता है, और गर्मी को राहत पहुंचाता है। यह मूलतः लाभकारी और स्वास्थ्य के लिए उपयुक्त है।

इसी प्रकार, नदियों, तालाबों, झीलों, कुओं और स्रोतों में पाया गया पानी उसके स्वाद और विशेषताओं के अनुसार पहचाना जाता है। इसमें नदी के किनारे, झील के किनारे, और अन्य ऐसे स्थानों का पानी शामिल है।

In those places, some say that there are various types of waters, such as sweet, sour, saline, bitter, and astringent, each found in specific proportions and colors like red, yellow, white, blue, and brown.
