नग्नं भूमौ शयानं वा वेगोत्सर्गेषु वाऽशुचिम् । प्रकीर्णकेशमभ्यक्तं स्विन्नं विक्लवमेव वा ॥१६॥

One should avoid a place where someone is lying naked on the ground, or where there is filth due to bodily excretions, or where there is a person with disheveled hair, sweating, or in a state of agitation.

ऐसे स्थान से बचना चाहिए जहाँ कोई नग्न होकर भूमि पर लेटा हो, या जहाँ शारीरिक उत्सर्गों के कारण गंदगी हो, या जहाँ कोई व्यक्ति अव्यवस्थित बालों के साथ, पसीने से तर या अशांत अवस्था में हो।

वैद्यं य उपसर्पन्ति दूतास्ते चापि गर्हिताः ॥ वैद्यस्य पैत्र्ये दैवे वा कार्ये चोत्पातदर्शने ॥१७॥

Messengers who approach a physician are also to be condemned if they are seen to create disturbances in the physician's ancestral or divine work or if they are involved in actions that indicate mischief.

जो दूत एक वैद्य के पास पहुँचते हैं, वे भी दोषी माने जाते हैं यदि वे वैद्य के पैत्रिक या दैवी कार्य में विघ्न उत्पन्न करते हैं या यदि वे उन क्रियाओं में संलग्न होते हैं जो उपद्रव का संकेत देती हैं।

On the fourth, ninth, or sixth days, or during the days of sandhi (junction periods), if the messengers approach the physician, they too are condemned.
