ग्रासशल्ये तु कण्ठासक्ते निःशङ्कमनवबुद्धं स्कन्धे मुष्टिनाऽभिहन्यात्, स्नेहं मद्यं पानीयं वा पाययेत् ॥२१॥

In the case of a splinter lodged in the throat, if it is not perceptible or visible, it should be struck with a fist on the shoulder. Additionally, the patient should drink oil, alcohol, or a beverage to aid in the process.

बाहुरज्जुलतापाशैः कण्ठपीडनाद्वायुः प्रकुपितः श्लेष्माणं कोपयित्वा स्रोतो निरुणद्धि, लालास्रावं फेनागमनं सञ्ज्ञानाशं चापादयति; तमभ्यज्य संस्वेद्य शिरोविरेचनं तस्मै तीक्ष्णं विदध्याद्रसं च वातघ्नं दद्यादिति ॥२२॥

When the air, provoked by the pain caused by the ropes or strings around the neck, stirs up mucus and obstructs the channels, resulting in a red discharge, foam formation, and loss of consciousness, it should be treated by inducing sweating, using head purgation, and administering a sharp and warming substance that alleviates the vata dosha.

जब गले में लगे हुए रस्सियों या धागों से वायु उत्तेजित होकर कफ को उत्तेजित कर देती है और नलिकाओं को अवरुद्ध कर देती है, जिससे लाल स्राव, झाग का निर्माण और चेतना की हानि होती है, तो उपचार के रूप में पसीना लाने, सिर की पवर्तन क्रिया करने, और वात को नष्ट करने वाले तीक्ष्ण और गर्म पदार्थ का उपयोग करना चाहिए।
