Sushruta Samhita
भवति चात्र- कुपितानां हि दोषाणां शरीरे परिधावताम् । यत्र सङ्गः खवैगुण्याद्व्याधिस्तत्रोपजायते ॥१०॥
Indeed, when the doshas (humours) become aggravated in the body and move around, diseases arise at the places where the doshas accumulate due to their inherent qualities.

वास्तव में, जब शरीर में दोष (द्रव) उत्तेजित हो जाते हैं और इधर-उधर फैलने लगते हैं, तो वे उन स्थानों पर रोग उत्पन्न करते हैं जहाँ दोष उनकी स्वाभाविक गुणों के कारण जमा होते हैं।
