नैवातिशीते नात्युष्णे न प्रवाते न चाभ्रिते । सिराणां व्यधनं कार्यमरोगे वा कदाचन ॥७॥
The puncturing of veins (Sira) should never be performed when it is extremely cold, extremely hot, during strong winds, or when the sky is overcast, nor should it be performed on a person who is not in good health.

शिराओं का वेधन न तो अत्यधिक सर्दी में, न अत्यधिक गर्मी में, न तेज़ हवा के दौरान और न ही आकाश में बादल होने पर किया जाना चाहिए, और न ही कभी अस्वस्थ व्यक्ति पर किया जाना चाहिए।
